Re: folding footpeg
I replaced the Tarozzi rear sets on my 3 1/2 Sport and, even with the kickstart extender block, the kickstart was catching the toe peg on the brake lever. The new toe peg is longer than the old one, which I still had, so I swapped them. Problem solved. On Soren's bike at the Dutch rally in 2010 I no...

Please try to keep it in one piece! It looks like the basis for a very nice machine.

Corsaro ZZ and Milano
I've had an email from Bruce Charman of Prime Factors Motorcycles. He's got a couple of what seem like very good value Corsaro ZZs, and a Limited Edition Milano in red and black. Contact details here: If there is any interest from the club or members, please contact Josh or Geoff on 07137 304220 or ...

I didn't meet him Mike, but if the name fits, it is probably him. There were certainly some very well-ridden Nortons at the trackday.

Re: Dead Electrics
When the electrics on my Sport started playing up and then died in Germany, I found out that the fuse board itself had fractured across the back, meaning that all the fuses had become intermittent.

Trackday Photos
Another very successful trackday, and thanks to everyone who helped and participated. Paul Denton was taking photos throughout the day, and these are now up on his website. If you google tracksnapz you'll find him and can order a memento of your riding skills!
Cheers, Mark.

Re: What's the requirement for clothing for the track day?
Sensible one here: two-piece zip-together leathers or all-in-one; leather gloves and boots (my boots had a fair amount of plastic etc bits on also), and an approved helmet. Armoured gore-tex etc isn't allowed. If it rains, you'll want your waterproof oversuit, but you still won't catch Paul Compton.

Re: Alternate source of spares
I've got 4 Venhill cables, with outers of different lengths. The longest is 94cm. On all of them the inner is 8cm longer than the outer. If you'd like one, let me know. Regards, Mark.

Re: Alternate source of spares
I've got a few of various lengths sitting in the garage. If you know the inner and outer measurements you need, I'll check them. Regards, Mark.
