Re: torque settings

Hi Bob........I doubt that torque settings exist for the 175. But I can tell you that, after head joint problems with my Settebello, I tightened the head bolts to 25 ft lbs and had no further trouble.
Hope that helps.......Doug

Re: Tresette headbollt torque figure

Hi Keith Glad to hear that you have got it all back together. For parts I would suggest contacting Alex Luzzi in Italy. You can communicate with him in English by emailing him at alexluzzi@gmail.com. Have you thought about going with your Tresette to the event in Normandy at Easter? I will be there ...

Re: Tresette headbollt torque figure

Hi Keith
Having only one washer under one of the four head bolts sounds wrong, unless the length of one of the four is different from the other three. I would leave it out. And I agree with you that the washers for the rocker section should be immediately under the nuts.
Best of luck.

Re: Morini European meeting in France 2017

Hi All
Just to tell you that the entry forms etc are now on the Moto Morini Passion website in English. If you go to their site; click on the picture on the front page; and then click on the Union Jack button, all will be revealed.

Best wishes, and see you there.

Re: Tresette headbollt torque figure

Hi Keith I've never had the head off my Tresette Sprint, but I've refitted it several times on my Settebello. The Settebello head bolts are (from memory) 9 or10mm and I tighten them to 25 ft lbs and have no gasket problem. If your head bolts are the same dimension, then 25 is what I would do. Hope t...

Re: Corsaro ignition

Hi Clive
I have a 125 Corsaro data sheet, but I have to say that it is undated. But it probably answers your questions. It shows:

Ignition gap: 0.35 to 0.40mm. Ignition timing 37 to 39 degrees before top dead centre on full advance.
Valve clearances inlet and exhaust: 0.05mm.

Hope this helps.

Re: France under Alice?

Hi Mike
I intend to go, but as usual not to ride all the way. I'll take my Tresette Sprint on a trailer behind my campervan.

Re: Dijon 2012 - Coupes Moto Legende...

Jem...........Your list looks pretty good. My understanding about the spare bulbs is that they used to be compulsory but no longer are. But you will get nicked if you have a light out. So it looks like you carry them anyway. The breathalisers are required from 1st July. But the fines for not having ...

Re: Tresette Sprint

Hi...................I'm not so sure that it is a mad price. You certainly won't get a good Tresette Sprint or that price. I don't think anyone has replied to your question about frame and engine numbers. My early type Tresette Sprint (with the rear light in the body pressing) has matching frame and...

Re: Dijon 2012 - Coupes Moto Legende...

Hi All...................I have sent in my forms to ride my Settebello at Dijon....................I hope that gets me a ride. As to your comment, Bruno, I met four of the Morini Passion members/officials at Dijon last year. As far as I know, they didn't have their Morinis there, but it will be good...

Re: 125 Corsaro Veloce Timing?

Hi huskynox..............It's been a while since your question, but I can say the following: The ignition should be set at 38 degrees before top dead centre on full advance. I've seen references to fixed and automatic advance on a Corsaro. Are you able to move the points to full advance before ckeck...

Re: 175 Turismo valve timing

Hi Jonjim It's a long time since you posted your question, but if you still want a reply: Yes, the exhaust pushrod is longer than the inlet one. The rockers can only go in one way (you can't mix them up) and so if you put the longer pushrod on the exhaust you will be right. The pushrods run approxim...
