Re: 2008 Avio stalls when coming to a stop

Stalling at low speeds/when using clutch was a common problem with the older maps. Do yourself a favor, invest a little money in the cable and update your mapping. Mappings per model, chronologically. Thanks to Ebi of the german morini forum. Corsaro 140hp Standard maps: • early 2006: 2333MA45 (D) m...

Re: bike wont start

As an upgrade and tuning tip (reducing weight  ) drill a little hole in the plastic cover over the fuse as a drain.

Re: bike wont start

Must be a relay :) There are millions on the bloody bike. Well - for some counting can be a problem. Are you a politician? In fact, there are six. Three in front, under the fairing - main beam, fans, hi-beam. Two under the seat, for the fuel pump and the main relais. And then of course th...

This is the non-evo ring: http://shop.sw-motech.com/cgi-bin/cosmoshop/lshop.cgi and the bag http://www.biker-discount.co.uk/sw-motech-bags-connection-quick-lock-engage-xl-15ltr-tank-bag-tr5101-xl-164-p.asp The bag seems out of production now. If my memory serves me correctly, it was only available a...

Re: Luggage

Bumping an old thread but here's some options that might be useful for someone else out there. SW-Motech have a range of both tailbags and tankbags that suit the Corsaro. The tankbags clip onto an attachment on the fuelcap. It keeps the bag off your paintwork, very secure (including locking as an o...

Re: Veloce oil leak

I had the same - had overtightened the hose clamp of the breather hose (where it is connected to the airbox), causing the hose to leak

Re: Starter Relay Fuses

Now you know why I do al maintenance myself  (combined with the lack of dealers). I think you have a shortage in the powerlead from the batterie to the starter relay and/or from relay to starter. Remove seat and tank and check the cables (check for any damage on the insulation). Also check bat...

Re: Corsaro runs rich

Yes, CORC & Ebi are lambda off. You can use the guzzi diag for the tps reset and the co adjustment. Remember the engine must be running and above 40 degr for co adjustment. The tps reset and co adjustment are found under 'actors' in the top menu of guzzidiag. Just choose a 8v 1200 guzzi model li...

Re: Corsaro runs rich

Hi eMGe, Mapping: 1) Did you perform tps reset? 2) Is everything else OK? I mean valve clearance, throttles synced, sparkplugs and batterie 100%? This should be checked first. If above is OK, it should run (and keep running) with CORA, CORC and Ebi's maps, with lambda off. Dashboard: MAE (the manufa...

Re: New owner & oil leak

Nr 29 is quite famous for improper re-installing. I "glue" it with (very) little threebond before re-assembly.
Nr 28 i have never replaced, although I have a spare. Mount carefully (I also use a little threebond, as the factory does as well) and never overtighten the four screws.

Re: Neutral Indication

Take out the neutral sensor and check if it works correctly. If so, experiment with different thickness washers, was a common problem with the early corsaro's.

Re: oil leak

It can be either.... or both ;) Maybe a compression test could indicate faulty head gasket. Normally, water would get into the oil and would leave "mayonaise" at the oil fill screw or in the airbox if it is the head gasket. To remove the right carter, first remove the waterpump, the clutch...
