Re: E bay bargain

I have experience of the seller. Travelled 120ml to collect a Bridgestone then found a hole in the engine side casing so did not continue with the purchase. No complaint from him at the time then he raised a dispute with ebay saying I was a time waster,no intention of buying etc. 240ml trip at 17mpg...

Re: NLM Exhaust nut tool quality???

I suspect the thrust of the message was not so much the fact that Stuart had not responded, but that the tool was inadequate. Mine was bought a few years ago.It is just a piece of flat plate cut to shape but it has no intrinsic strength. A quality, hardened c spanner or a face tool as owned by Paul is...

Re: Barn find

Maybe a bit ott but so is the thread really. Who cares what it sells for? Neither of us are likely to buy it..but there is a "bum for every seat "to quote an old sales quip.

Re: NLM Exhaust nut tool quality???

My exhaust tool bent too..The second to do so. I could not be bothered returning it as postage was not being refunded.
totally inadequate for the job in my opinion.

Re: Barn find

Why the hysteria? Nlm sell bikes of this calibre at times and seem to achieve high prices which I admit to finding hard to comprehend.
When did you see a fairly complete bike for circa 1k? I suspect it will make 1500. It is a buyers market after all!

Re: Handbook

I have an original version. The one with the brown cover but not much info inside. I have had it over 40yrs and do not really want to part with it however if you need a copy I can try to do that. :D

Re: k1/2 models

I decided against the k2. If owning different bikes is important then I already do. I have a flat tanker, a later 1932 saddle tank machine, norton featherbed 350 and a w800 kawasaki. All quite diverse as I am sure you will agree? Since selling my strada I fancy another Morini but the k2 I had seen wo...

Re: k1/2 models

Apologies..internet and false info.I looked up the k2 and the site gave incorrect wheel sizes. i thought the pics of the bike looked normal in the wheel dept! It seems from your replies that it is a good biks. I cannot help my feelings towards its style but each to their own. Nodecision made on purc...

Re: k1/2 models

Yes itis the look of the bike.Nothing looks right to me.

Also the 16" wheel...but that is less of an issue.

Thanjs for the replies. I appreciate the wisdom out there.

k1/2 models

Has anyone lived with a k1 or 2 model?
I do not like them much. But have an opportunity to acquire one at reasonable money.
Are they worth bothering with?
Thanks

Re: 250 t

Thanks Paul.
I already have a British single,1963 Norton m50. I assume the 'Morini is livelier?

I am concerned about parts etc in view of the short three year production run..

250 t

Can anyone assist with first hand knowledge of the 250t?

I have found one locally but know nothing about this model other than the basics..links to the 350 via modular construction, weight,hp etc.

Are they any good?

Thanks
