i was talking to a scrutineer about talking my 3-1/2 to cadwell next year. he said my 3-1/2 would not pass scrutineering because the silencers end 3 inches after the back wheel yet it has just passed its mot ! the sito silencers are new from NLM. what do you think :?:

as i said before it passed its m o t 100 mile ago and today i checked the the head bearings for play,wheel bearings,forks,shocks and swing arm bearings. the only problem i found was----------a little play in the swing arm bearings !!!! so much for the m o t :x :?: :?:

i have been thinking about the letter A stamped on the crankcase on the front,lower edge,left hand side (as you sit on the bike).it looks like it could have been stamped on by morini while casting the crankcases to mark a set of crankcases with a modification in the design from the earlyer run of ca...

thanks for the info yes there is A3 with the frame number and there is the letter S on the right hand side front cylinder ( as you sit on the bike). when i said asap i only needed to know it is a sport asap and it is :D now i am very happy thanks all :D :D

on the log book.. date of registration 18-09-1978. date of first registration in the uk 18-09-1978. i dont know about the camshaft its still in the engine :)

frame & engine number

my engine number and frame number are the same.the engine has the letter A stamped on the lower left hand side. the engine number is 14480 .does the letter A mean its a strada engine? its a 1978 model it is dressed as a sport.is that wrong the frame number is on the log box but not the engine number...

:?: can any one list the possible causes of a mild speed wobble at 80mph with out stearing damper fitted.i think if i fitted a stearing damper it would just hide the problem :?:

i have a 1978 350 sport.when i check the oil level using the dip stick.do i push the dip stick all the way in ? or to the first O ring on the dipstick handle?.i have a honda and you do not screw the dip stick in to check the oil level !!

monday morning i snaped my front brake lever on my 3-1/2 sport pushing the bike backwards and hit a fence what an idiot !!.tuesday i went to a motorbike shop near by with the snaped lever in hand and found a brake lever off a yamaha fitted with only small modification needed for only £4 (what a bar...
