Re: 1 week with my new Seiemmezzo SCR

I've been looking at these as I really like the styling. They don't seem to be selling that well, which may be down to a damning owner review on MCN about it overheating and seizing.

How is it running and what is the fuel consumption and range like?

Re: Swing arm failure

This has made me take a very close look at my swingarm, as I've got nearly 42000 miles on the clock. No sign of cracks or concave welding, just some scrapes from a poorly adjusted chain. Has anyone seen what the failure rate is as a percentage of bikes manufactured? Out of curiosity I contacted WeBu...

Re: GP starting problem

I don't know if they are connected, but I had this problem and the only thing diagnosed so far is a wrecked stator, currently being replaced.
It caused a variety of electrical gremlins when I got soaked recently, about half of which disappeared once the bike had dried out.

Re: moto Amore/Moto Hub

Found this online: Moto Morini Srl has entered into an agreement with SIMA and MotoMondo for the distribution of Moto Morini Motorcycles in the countries where they operate. SIMA has renewed and expanded its distribution agreement for France, while MotoMondo will become the importer for the Italian ...

Re: Rear axle nut

Good to hear. 6 weeks after ordering, and long after I had given up and found one myself, a rear wheel nut arrived in the post! The GP should be ready shortly - the stator rewind was straightforward, but finding another gasket proved challenging. Well done Beaky's near Dorking. I was also told that ...

Re: Rear axle nut

Thanks Painter and SupermotoDave The M25 1.25mm was a Ducati item, which didn't fit. In further comms with the factory, they have confirmed that the older Corsaro (2006+) is the same spec rear spindle/axle. I managed to get a nut with chain tensioner blocks on a Corsaro Axle (all of which will fit t...

Re: Rear axle nut

The rear spindle nut is also not a standard M25 x 1.25mm thread. I've been in touch with the factory, who said that the nut is not a standard item, it apparently has a special coating. They didn't confirm the sizing, but they would be pleased to supply one through a dealer. Getting one of these thro...

Re: Rear axle nut

Well, the M25 1.5mm KTM rear axle nut seems to be the right diameter, but has a different thread. It nearly goes on.....

Hopefully Motohub will be able to supply one. It has apparently been ordered, but there is no delivery date yet.

Rear axle nut

Evening Rather worryingly, I've noticed that my rear axle nut is completely missing. I suspect this has happened during various mechanics tinkering and eventual recovery by the AA a couple of weeks ago. Luckily? the GP needs a new reg/rec and stator (I will be speaking to Electrex), so it has not be...

Re: moto Amore/Moto Hub

Hi My GP was mapped by BSD and gives 117 bhp at the rear wheel. I typically get 40 mpg from it, although noticeably lower with lots of in town riding. I'm on over 40,000 miles so will be thinking of an expensive service soon  I've thought about replacing it, but I just can't find anything that ...

Pillion Pegs

Has anyone had any joy replacing the entire pillion footpeg assembly (not the red painted portion)? I'm on my second set of pegs to fit the existing bracket and they are so worn that the ballbearing and spring keep coming out. I'd like to replace all the silver bits with something more easily source...

You've had similar problems to me. A Power Commander 111 has really helped but it's still not perfect. Fingers crossed I come away as happy as you next month. They seem to have done quite a few Morinis......

Re: Performance chip for passo

I'm off to BSD in a couple of months. They sound promising. I also have the 180 section rear wheel. The bike is very nimble and easy to turn in and really stable when leant over, but I've never had the 150, so can't compare.
