Re: Milano out of hibernation

Mark, At the moment I am standard on the rear preload and rebound (28 clicks). Front preloaded is one from softest, rebound is standard at 20 clicks and compression 33 (31 clicks standard). It was hard to begin with, but now a lot better. More fettling required, but it is only a pain on indentations ...

Re: Misfire under power

What an odd pickup. What is the ignition system?

Look here to see a standard pickup:

Re: National Road Rallys

Lovely day on the Welsh yesterday. Unfortunately BMW mounted.

Nice and easy and my friend said it was his best ride for years. Good weather, glorious views and the roads were literally bend after bend.

Re: The Seiemezzo

Mark,

The modified mudguard is spot on in terms of not falling off, but still fugly.

I do like the look of the 61/2 Scrambler thing except the rear mudguard. I think this will sell better than the X Cape. I would love to try one.

Re: The Seiemezzo

I think they look good in the photos. Still do not like the rear mudguard.

Lighter than the X-Cape. Seat is lower, too.

Be nice as a Sport with clip ons! Now, there is a challenge.

Hopefully a grand cheaper than the X-Cape.

Re: First impressions

No centre stand. C'mon, modern bikes have cats and huge exhausts, no room for practicalities! Tubeless tyres, though, so that is good. Apparently, the switchgear is backlit. I also note that in the advertising blurb there is an external temperature shown, but it was not present on the bike I rode. T...
