Re: Cooling issues
if the fans are not working have you checked the temp sensor wire/connectors, rather than the fans themselves. Just put a 12v voltage across the fan connectors to see if they are working correctly, if they are then it's probably the sensor. Won't be an expensive item as it will probably be common to...

stanchions
mv f4 stanchions have the same 50mm marzochhi stanchion and 58 mm top and bottom yoke diameters. the brake fitment has different hole spacing on some (nissin calipers for instance ) and the spindle is different. On the standard corsaro if you kept the same bottom end fitment then its not worth chang...

last time i purchased about six filters including "o" rings for about 48 incusive of delivery from the above link.
Only works if you purchase in bulk to make the postage economical.
At the time they were miles cheaper and that was when the factory was defunct.

Re: Front Discs Replacement issues
i think the discs on the corsaro are the "floating" type i.e they move around on the fixing bolts and if clogged with corrosion or crud then fail to "float".
Worth checking as this will give you the symptoms of a warped disk.

Re: Running Rich
one of the factory fixes was to squirt carb cleaner up the hoses directly to the stepper motor to stop it from sticking, probably due to what you've just mentioned about the hose in the airbox.
the fix was in the german forum which can be translated (the one that lists all the updates)

Re: Running Rich
if the cat was glowing red it's usually just the unburnt fuel. Leads to more problems further down the system such as plastic tail pieces, wiring etc melting as the heat becomes excessive in the system not just the cat.
Lucky you got the problem sorted in time

Re: Running Rich
easy way to check (as i'm not sure of the code) is to trace the lamba sensor to the first connection and disconnect.
Then see if you have an additional fault once you go through the diag routine again.

Re: Running Rich
to read the morini codes kill switch off switch ignition on whilst keeping the speedo button pressed, and then scroll throught to diagnostic menu. ducati diag will read dtc fault codes but since it's not specific for morini may throw up some spurious faults. to use diag you need a connector cable ab...

Re: 3X Parts for Corsaro/GP/scrambler on Ebay
might be a ducati silver. I have some multistrada silver looks almost identical.
I'll have another look and see how it matches up
the black/silver fairing is still for sale by 3x on ebay , if that is the part you are looking for @approx £125

Re: Running Rich
since you washed it , best place to start is remove the coils (make sure tank is not full of fuel when tilted) The plug recess has a drain hole which drains to the exterior of the cases. (you can see where it exits by spraying wd40 own the plug hole (with spark plug in place) and see where it comes ...

while your here daveh , how did you dismantle the stepper motor from the throttle bodies. On the subject of decat, what is to stop you from cutting a slot letterbox out of the back of the cat "bulge" and then remove the cat and reweld the flap back on. I realise that means there is a small...

Re: New Corsaro Owner Needs advice!
didn't mean to infer that it was clocked ,but more should other owners be aware that maybe the factory possibly didn't put as much care into some of the pre assembly of the engines as they should have. Lots of owners have bikes with low miles ,sometimes just due to having a few bikes to choose from ...
