possible sale of 350Sport, plus additional Borrani's

I say possible because I'm pretty torn about what may have to go following a new property venture. I have 3 motorbikes currently, and I can't see it being more than one early next year. The Morini is a 1978 350S (genuine) UK model. Engine rebuild by NLM 2 years ago (main bearing broke up) and the bi...

Re: strada wheel rebuild

Perhaps I'm too late to offer advice, but I had wheels built by both Brickwood (as suggested) and Hagon. Hagon, whilst slightly more expensive, did a VASTLY better job. I also found that posting a wheel to Hagon was easier than driving to Brickwood. It certainly cost me more than £25 of my time gett...

Re: Borrani Rim numbers

As there were two different diameters or rear hubs, it's quite possible there were 2 different numbers on the Borrani rims as the spoke angles would have been different. On the question of price, the hubs are rarer than the rims. Rim go for about £100 each, hubs up to £250! each. When I was trying t...

loads of 350 bits for sale

I have just bought a bulk load of mostly NOS spares. I've looked through it to see what I should keep for spares, but much isn't correct for my bike (or there are multiple same parts so I can let some go). So here is a list.... Rear light lens (NOS) Front sprocket x 2 (steel) 14T (NOS) Clutch plates...

Re: Mirror thread

Any 10mm threaded mirrors should fit (just check the thread direction for the l/h bar) I fitted a pair, bought at random from ebay which looked just like these.... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/YAMAHA-DT125-DT250-DT400-XT225-XT350-XT500-550-Mirrors_W0QQitemZ200291818850QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Motorcycle_Parts...

wheel rim offset

In simple language, offset is the distance from centre that the rim sits in relation to the spoke flanges on the hub. On the front wheel, I would imagine that the rim sits centrally as the distance either side of the hub would be the same (I have a disk braked/wire wheel bike. A disk can be fitted t...

Spares

You could just strip the bikes and put the parts on Ebay.co.uk? or whichever Ebay you thought theyd' sell best on! Shipping of parts to UK isnt that expensive and there is no tax to pay within the EU.

Mismatched Lafranconis?

My 350 sport has never run quite as well as I'd have hoped (however I've never ridden another to compare it to!). What I have noticed is that the exhaust pipes, whilst externally identical in shape, have different internals? One appears to be straight through (you can poke a long stick down it!), th...

Morini 350 / 500 rear wheel and related components

I have a spare alloy rear wheel, structurally sound, in original gold colour. It's perfectly serviceable but would benefit from a repaint if you wanted a really smart bike. Also think I have several spare cush drives, sprocket mounting pinions and possibly rear brake plates. call stuart on 07917 248...

L/H sidepanel for 1977-1978 3 1/2 Sport

my R/H sidepanel fell off my bike whilst riding it to an MOT! I tried long and hard to find one (NLM sell only a fibreglass replica at £34ish) and eventually managed to buy a pair! The L/H panel is not required so is available to anyone who may need it. It's complete and straight, but they've been ...

Nice bracket - any chance of making a few?

My swan neck does indeed foul (is a swan a fowl?) slightly the rear brake pedal. Not a prob 75% of the time but embarassing when it stick under the pedal and the ratcher whirrs away!

Any chance of fabricating / selling a few of these brackets with rubber stops?
