Re: Veloce oil/water emulsion

is it not just moisture from the inside of the cases? zx7r/zx10r/sp1 all use to show something that looked like the HG etc had gone, it just burnt off after running the bike for 10mins. Sure its not just temp differentials causing it?

Re: Race ECU running issues

My old bike had a full Termi system, yes its a real pain to fit. I took the swingarm out. Its now making 136bhp at the wheel and about 15bhp more in the midrange. when mapped it was making more torque than a current BSB superstock bike at half the revs. The new owner who sometimes lurks on here is a...

Re: Eyes Wide Open

As above and don't worry about it not selling. I've had offers on 3 occasions for mine that I turned down. I've just sold it to a a good friend at work. This was only to help fund another project otherwise it'd still be in my garage. I'll never have a bike thats such a good package.

Re: Exhaust

Termi do a full front section for not much more than QED do a de-cat for.

Time to move on

:( A sad day as my bike is going to pastures new..... well a friend at work so I can still see it and ride it :D He's taking it in its current spec and he's promised to love and cherish it!! I'm only selling as i'm building a 'kitcar' that is taking up lots of time and money so i've got to downgrade...

Re: Modding my 07 Veloce

I wouldn't bother with a de-cat, just go straight for a the termi pipework to match the cans, it gave me much better gains than a cat alone. I've a standard new set of radial brake/clutch master cylinders off a 08 spec veloce and some short billet levers if you're interested. Also a set of carbon fr...

Re: diagnostics

I might have a CD dealer manual for the bike somewhere.... I'm away with work for a week so I can't check till I get back. Either that or i'll have a look at my bike. I've had my bike in bits to change all the bolts to stainless ones and can't remember seeing a choc block, it was all superseal conne...

Re: diagnostics

you should get over 12v just reading the voltage with no load, 13.4v-14v with the engine running. Should drop down to 9-10.5v when turning over/starting. I had issues with the factory supplied battery, basically 2 died even though they were plugged into a battery conditioner all the time. When my cu...

Re: diagnostics

That is a common problem, one of the above is only about £25 more than standard but can be recovered from deep discharge and have a higher CCA rating.

Re: diagnostics

No worries :) My 1st battery went after 6 weeks or so, the second is lasting well but I know its got a limited lifespan. I've got one of the above fitted to a 'kit car' i'm building. Same size as a bike battery but turns over a 3.0 engine so so easily. http://www.powervampracing.com/ if you give the...

Re: radial master cylinder

I've done a a few miles on both a corsaro and the veloce version. The braking is better on the Veloce and feel through the lever is better too. Some of this 'feel' must have come from the uprated suspension too.
