Hey Janne, After the magazine returned the Veloce I took it to the 'V-Twin Rally' This year there were no other Morini's present and I couldn't let that happen. After taking part in the parade laps through the local town, the bike drew much attention and interest. One bystander told me 'the earth sh...

Impressive stuff! and great shots.

I hope Francesco makes a speedy recovery - He has broken bones I haven't even heard-of!?

His 'front right glenoid' must have been a killer...

I like the 'Italian Air Force' roundel on the tank.

Morini Scrambler

Haven't been on the forum for some time -But really pleased to read about the Scrambler at Erzberg... I currently ride a KTM Super Enduro and have ridden both the BMW HP2 and Morini Scrambler. This is real testament to the Scrambler, as the KTM Super Enduro was actually developed at Erzberg and has ...

There is(was?!) a company near Bournemouth that makes them too -in a stainless mesh, with a black edge trim -I believe the company is called FAB design.

They are easy to fit using the exiting rad. mounting points.

Mark Jessop or Steve Thomas at 3X will know more...

Franky.
You would be assured of he longest-lasting front tyre.

I still have fond memories of the time a gave my bike the full beans in first, even with standard gearing and the admiring looks of the FZ6 rider alongside me who got a great close-up of my front caliper....

Twisty, I don't know if the ECU mapping is different between the bikes? Should be easy to find out. And maybe the gearing/sprocket sizes? I suppose you wouldn't HAVE to have the Oil Cooler - Or at least initially while you splash-out on the new cylinder heads?! Would be interested to know if you tak...

Hi Toggy Did you buy the white ex-demo bike from 3X? If so I thought it was a great looking bike and would assume that you got it for a good saving over new. Unless you do regular 'off-roading' or adventure trips on really poor roads: the 'on-road' performance is all that really matters. You still g...

nfitz Sorry to hear that you are parting with the Corsaro and more so, because you have been a regular contributor to this forum.... I hope that you will continue to post, as I am sure that your knowledge of 'things Corsaro' is greatly valued. I owned a Benelli Tornado RS, before my Corsaro and it w...

Hi Alan Sorry to hear of your predicament with the speedo conversion. I am surprised that this is not explained within the owner's manual -as it has been for every bike I have owned, capable of this function? It is unlike 3X not to respond and I suggest perhaps that you personally call Mark Jessop a...

Twisty, Morini's are not cheap bikes and as a daily viewer of this forum: I am a little surprised at the number of 'niggly' faults that are still being reported. Sure theses things are under warranty and often replaced at no cost - But anything that keeps a modern bike off the road is a pain in the ...

Hi Splodge My jacket used to smell of fumes when I had the Corsaro -perhaps there is some kind of swirl effect behind the bike? 'Eau de Morini pour homme' also available as a body spray...Well Harley marketing wouldn't miss a trick like that. Used have an early Guzzi Le Mans, with bell-mouths fitted...

Olly, Saw the red GP today -But was unable to take images. Lousy weather outside and a very full showroom saw to that. The bike looks mighty fine in red, with dark grey(?) frame. After 60 miles of cr*p weather my once white 848 is now grey with grey frame! Will attempt to take some shots on my next ...

Hi All, I got my first look at the scrambler today and managed to sit on it. Really good looking bike which IMO will have a wider appeal than the 1200 Sport. It naturally sits taller than the 'Sport' and the higher bars really make the two bikes feel more distinct than they really are. The finish lo...
