Re: 250 2C

The 250 2c is a very small bike ,I'm 5 foot 11 and with the drop bars I seem to be peering at the top edge of my crash helmet visor opening , which is why I now have a 350 sport -a physically larger bike, though I have only used my bikes for leisure use road runs etc,but some people have toured and c...

Re: morini 3-1/2 road tax

As long as the build date is 1975 your bike should qualify for Historic Tax category . Not sure if you will have to notify DVLA for a change of category or if they will notify you .

Re: morini 3-1/2 road tax

Its now back to a rolling 40 year basis (2016) . just taxed my newly bought 1975 Sport ,Post office wouldn't let me do it as Historic so I paid the £39.00 ,a month later I finally got the V5 and a letter saying it should be Historic and I will get a refund!

touch up paint red Mk 1 sport

I have just acquired a very nice 1975 MK 1 3.5 Sport ,immaculate except for a tiny paint chip on the top side of the petrol tank . As a Motor Mechanic I usually have a surplus of car paints in my store, and I came across - Suzuki Red code AJ4 from a nearly new Suzuki Swift , perfect match ,now even ...

rebuilt calipers

My answer would be no!. I have fitted many piston and seal kits, mainly on cars, with no problems. It may be that some fluid is still present under the dust seal and is still weeping out when it gets hot.As you mentioned-keep a close check on it for a day or two just to make sure. cheers.
