They weren't by any chance bought as part of a group of several old Morini exhausts sold on e bay (thought I noticed some hiding among the others in the picture)

That looks like the nlm "performance!" pick up to me - I think there is information on it in somewhere in the library - if you can't find it I am sure I have a copy of the instruction set up somewhere.

Hello - I spent a long time getting the front brake to bleed properly and in the end went for the same solution as John for the same reasons -PTFE tape to stop leakage around the bleed nipple. This coupled with with a modern suction brake bleeder and the improvement is considerable.
