Re: private message facility

Hi, PMs will stay in your inbox until they have been read by the recipient. if they have changed their email and have not updated it in their profile, they will not see an email to say they have a pm. You can delete PMs from your outbox Go to the user control panel, select the outbox, put a tick in ...

Re: Unable to post pictures

I have just increased the space available for attachments so you should be able to attach photos again.

If you use a photo hosting site you can link to that using the URL button along the top of the message window, your hosting site should provide the URL required.

I have had a few queries about the way the pm system works so I thought I would make this a 'sticky' When you create a new pm it will stay in your outbox until the recipient opens it, only then will it move to your sent box. This is so that you can tell when your pm has been read. The recipient shou...

Re: For Admin

Hi,
I have just increased the disc space allowance for attachments, so hopefully you should be able to upload photos again.

As John mentioned you can link to photos hosted on your preferred image hosting site, that has the advantage that we do not have to pay for the disc space :)

Re: Tarozzi

Try swapping the clipons to the other fork leg, ie put them on upside down.
Sounds daft but they end up almost horizontal, much more comfortable.

Re: Non E-start flywheel/alternator cover

I went to overtake a car on my 500-6 when the engine suddenly died. After a 12 hour AA recovery home from Wales to Norfolk I found the flywheel and starter ring had come loose. All of the rivets had sheared. AFter a quick call to Benjy Straw at Weevee he told me to use short nuts and bolts with spli...

Forum upgrade

The forum software was successfully upgraded tonight, so I thought I would also take the opportunity to make a few changes. All of the bike model forums have been combined under a single category, The Bikes. A new forum for Projects has been added to The bikes as requested by a couple of members. A ...

Re: PM Not Working properly?

Just had a play with the PMs and I got it the wrong way round.
When you send a PM it sits in your outbox until the recipient opens it, so it looks like the message has not been sent.
Once read it moves to the sent box.

Maybe something to do with your cookie settings?

Re: Cush drive - anyone had problems?

Same thing happens on the Yamaha XT660s. Best fix is to cut squares out of an old inner tube, lay them over the slots in the rubbers and push the metal part of the sprocket carrier into the rubbers so that the inner tube wraps around it and pads out the clearance. May need to experiment with the sha...

Re: PM Not Working properly?

Hi Mike

The board software only moves PMs to the outbox once the recipient has opened it.
They should be showing in your sent box

Not how I would have written the software, but there you go.
