Chain Adjustment Tool
Loosely based on the factory version shown in the owner's manual for the Super Scrambler and Milano, which isn't available from the factory. Sure you can also tap your eccentric adjusters round with a pin punch or a screwdriver, or try to get a strap/chain wrench on them if you prefer, but this home...

Re: atomiser/emulsion tube.
According to the article in La Strega the U has 0.8mm holes. The CT has holes of 1.0mm at A and B If adapting other tubes excess holes can be plugged with solder. Mark The tables in La Strega certainly worked for our 31/2 when we bought new atomizer tubes and modified them by adding holes in the ri...

Re: Tarozzi brake arm repair/replace
Yes I've had mine broken and MIG welded in so many places there is almost as much weld as original aluminum. Start with just a little "V" preparation, then send it for welding. So when it comes back you can smooth it back to the original shape and add black paint so it doesn't look like it...

Re: Best 31/2 cam for all-round flexibility?
More compression generally gives slightly more power, at all revs. People had sometimes told me Sport pistons in an otherways standard Strada was a nice combination. Didn't think much about it until our Strada needed a rebore and only had Sport pistons available. Conclusion; those guys were right it...

Re: Stator Question
Oh wow that looks exactly like mine. Same font, same size, identical. And on there since the day it was made. Are your green and white wires longer than the two yellows? Can you take a photo of the last section of wiring showing the terminals of the Green, White, Yellow, Yellow all in one photo to s...

Re: Stator Question
This stator you find in the pre Kokussan 501 models, late Kanguros (X3, don´t know if also X2) maybe also 350 Customs and K2 if they don´t have Kokussan. Perhaps in all models of the Cagiva time if not Kokussan? Thanks Norbert, it looks like this one. So two questions; - Do we know why there is a '...

Re: Stator Question
Thanks Tom. You are right it has a Green wire and doesn't look like the Kokussan one in your photo. It has many less poles for a start

Re: Stator Question
A late Excalibur stator should be a Kokussan one. Thanks I have to say that I don't know what that looks like but this one has very chunky wires on the bobbins and looks like it was wound by a child, not very neat at all. Are the Kokussan ones like that? I put the flywheel back on recently so if it...

Stator
Hi Guys, I'm looking at what I think is a late Kanguro stator*. There are four wires coming out of it. Green - Ignition winding. White - Earth. Yellow - Generator winding, this wire has a "1" ferrule on it. Yellow- Generator winding. I can't understand why one of the yellow wires has a &qu...

Re: Cylinder Torque values.
Thank you - I think i have a base gasket weep at the minute that needs attention Your choice of course but often base gasket weeps look worse than they actually are. If you aren't having to top the oil up all the time it probably is only a cosmetic problem. Happy riding :-) P.S. if you have a new f...

If using all aluminum gaskets, most people go straight to the final value.

Re: Instrument bezels and glass
The glass and the shadow ring go face to face and they fit in the groove in the rubber. Then the rubber sits on top of the "can" that is the outside of the speedo/tacho. Then the bezel goes over the top and is either pressed or rolled down over the lip to hold it in place. I've done maybe ...
