Re: Valentini Replica
Julian-you mean Alldens, yes? If so his name is Dennis and he's an old colleague of Ivan Appletons' so you can name drop both Ivan and me plus Tom as well. Yes, Alldens, sorry for the typo... and thanks for the correction he is Dennis rather than John, I'd misread one of the extended convers...

Re: Valentini Replica
Steve, Thanks for the recommendation to use Alldens Exhausts. I've looked at their Facebook page and the owner seems to be unusually capable and humble. I'll contact him early next week and ask him about making clones of the various exhausts (RMS 350, RMS 500, Valentini 350). I'd take them up to him...

Re: Valentini Replica
I really like 2-1s but have a 500. were they ever produced for the 500 and if so does anyone know where they can be sourced? Tim, I have an RMS 2-1 system for a 500; at least it was from a 500 Sport so I presume it was made to suit it... It's rusty and has a couple of small rust holes however it se...

Re: Valentini 350 exhaust for new project
I do have a complete Valentini system for a 350 that I bought about 18 months ago and it will eventually be fitted to my 400cc sport. I can help you with dimensions and might even be able to provide a 3D CAD model of it if a friend of mine is able to borrow a suitable scanner. I live in the High Wyc...

Re: Tarozzi brake arm repair/replace
BTW I do have another 3 1/2 sport which has one-off footrests where the LHS one folds forward so that the kickstart can be used without problems. It's a simple solution but means the footrests are about 6" further forward than the tarozzi ones. Doesn't that put it back where the standard ones ...

Re: Replicating Tarozzi Lever in Alloy
You could try waterjetuk.com? They dont mind one offs/small production runs I learn from the Butchered Classics FB group. I was wondering about this too. There are various engineers who make alloy yokes etc for custom-bike builders too, inc www.marmisto.co.uk/retro-bits Thanks for the idea and for ...

Re: Tarozzi brake arm repair/replace
In the 500 group Jonny Pollard mooted getting some of these lazer cut in alloy. They are, like the Artesiani Morini rearsets back in the 80s made of something like digestive biscuit. If you look at his posting, I did suggest a few places that lazer-cut alloy motorbike parts. The Artesiani rearsets ...

Re: Morini 250 2c lower speedo side fork leg and tubes.
As far as I know, mdinaitalia has new fork stanchions at approximately £115 each if you're an MRC member, else £128... https://www.mdinaitalia.co.uk/stanchion-mm-250.html there are 14 available. The fork seals are also generally available e.g. on eBay (Douglas may have some at mdinaitalia too). In t...

Re: atomiser/emulsion tube.
I realise you are seeking a new and unused atomiser so this might not suit; nonetheless there are 7 used VHBZ25 carbs in stock at mdina currently and perhaps at least one of these might be in very good condition. https://www.mdinaitalia.co.uk/M340124U.html

Re: Instrument bezels and glass
Mike, Doug at mdina does list a rubber seal and has stock currently https://www.mdinaitalia.co.uk/instrument-bezel-rubber.html however you'll probably want to check with him whether this is actually suitable for the 88mm veglia rather than the 90mm smiths bezels. What about considering using cord se...
