Photos from Cadwell 2023

Photos up from last week’s MRC Cadwell Park track day, surprised not to see any other posts about it yet.
Once again no rain all day!

Re: CDI mal function ?

Two black blocks on an aluminium plate sounds like a non standard ignition to be honest. All bets are off until the type of ignition is confirmed.

Re: Morini Riders Club Membership Renewal Confirmation

And sorry above the reversed cover, we shall have a word with the printers but I have reassembled my own copy for the intended effect when I reread it in future.

Re: Morini Riders Club Membership Renewal Confirmation

Sorry about the lateness, I normally try to make the December issue arrive only just before Christmas so you have something to read while being terrorised by the family and I have a bit more time for the extra work necessary for the stupidity, but unfortunately the strikes were a googley ( note cric...

Re: Trackday Cadwell 2022

Also a shout out to anyone who was at Cadwell and took any photos, I'd be delighted to have copies to add to my choices for the Cadwell article in the next ATG. No need for big long white Cannon lenses, even iPhone photos can be very useful in the right context if the content is interesting. Forward...

Re: PHBH 28 Jet Sizes for 501XE Camel

My understanding was that us bikes had the larger carbs with accelerator pumps so they could be set up to run much leaner at a constant throttle for EPA reasons and let the accelerator pump deal with the need for changes in throttle openings. Best thing to do for usability is change to European spec...

Re: Another Question!!

Make sure you check the length of the rear sprocket bolts. The thinner sprocket means that they can bottom out inside the rear hub and do damage to the wheel.

That blue one is a beauty, just needs an RMS 2:1 to be my favourite 350.

Re: Blast from the past.

Also the second photo with the hand appears to show it after it was in the presentation ring getting its prize as Bruce snapped off the brake pedal on the Artesiani rear sets (as you do) when kickstarting it to ride it off with his prize as instructed by the judge. (Dave Calderwood I think)

Re: Blast from the past.

1985, Bruce Mackie and his sport at the BMF rally where he won best European or some such. Bruce was responsible for the calendar posters the club put out in the 90s- early 2000s. The front wheel from that sport went into the blue sport photo in the abandoned factory in the 1994 poster.
